Varsity newsletter

The Varsity Newsletter Series includes three issues intended to assist new students and their families with the transition into Southern Methodist University.  The newsletters are student written and each one has a particular focus. Issue 1 provides an in-depth overview of the Office of New Student Orientation and Student Support, as well as a look into new additions to SMU's campus.  Issue 2 familiarizes students with the Academic Advising Center and outlines what you can expect throughout the advising and registration process.  Issue 3 describes ways to take advantage of on-campus involvement opportunities, in addition to the city if Dallas.  Each newsletter also features faculty, student, and class spotlights as pieces on SMU history and tradition.

Who's New: SMU New Student Directory

The Who's New Directory is a directory of new students who choose to participate in the publication.  The Office of New Student Orientation and Student Support creates and publishes the directory through the assistance of an outside vendor.  Please check our website for cost and registration information soon!
