Students are sharing news of their studies and travels around the world this summer on the Student Adventures blog.
The site, which gets thousands of hits a month, lets the campus community, parents and alumni "travel along" as students meet challenges that go far beyond the classroom and chronicle their experiences in words, photos and video.
This summerís Adventurers include:
A class of communications students who are interning with international human rights organizations as part of SMU-in-London.
Sierra, a senior participating in SMU-in-Australia-and-Asia. She is spending three weeks in China and three weeks in Western Australia as part of a group of students preparing business case studies.
Charanya, a junior and a Presidentís Scholar, who has an internship this summer in Washington, D.C., at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
Cody, a junior who received a public service internship award from the Maguire Center for Ethics and Public Responsibility. She is working with the Stewpot in downtown Dallas.
Jon and Tara in Poland, two engineering students who have internships with Sabre Polska, the Polish office of Sabre-Holdings.
