Annual Red & Blue Scrimmage Set for Saturday

DALLAS (SMU) – The SMU football team will wrap up spring football with a final open practice on Saturday, April 5, at 1 p.m. inside Gerald J. Ford Stadium on the SMU campus. Near the end of SMU's practice, the Mustangs will run approximately 40 plays as part of their annual Red & Blue Scrimmage.

Before the game, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony will perform a noon concert in Doak Walker plaza, and while the Boulevard will remain closed, Mustang fans are invited to take part in a post-game barbeque following the game at the south end of the stadium. The costs are $15 for Mustang Club members, $20 for non- members and $5 for children.

The game will also feature raffles for exciting prizes and an opportunity for fans to purchase or renew season tickets. Admission is free.
