May 23, 2002 MEADOWS MUSEUM OFFERS TRIP TO SPAIN, OCT. 13-22,
2002 DALLAS (SMU) -- The Meadows Museum at SMU, nationally renowned for its collection of Spanish art, is hosting a trip to Spain from October 13-22, 2002. Titled Art & Architectural Treasures of Spain: from Goya to Calatrava, the tour will be led by Museum Curator Mark Roglán, Ph.D., a native of Spain and a former research associate at the Prado Museum. The trip includes visits to private art collections, excursions to Gothic churches and cathedrals, and in-depth tours of Spains greatest art museums, including Barcelonas Picasso Museum, Valencias new City of Arts and Sciences, designed by Santiago Calatrava, and the Prado Museum in Madrid, among others.
