SCHEDULE OF MEADOWS MUSEUM PUBLIC EVENTS FOR GOYA’S MASTERY IN PRINTS EXHIBITION

Thurs., Feb. 14
Music in the Meadows
6:00 -- 7:30 PM
Outstanding piano students of Joaquín Achúcarro at the Meadows School of the Arts will present “A Night of Spanish Music: Goyescas.” Inspired by the paintings and sketches of Goya, Enrique Granados composed Goyescas as a tribute to the colorful culture of 18th century Madrid.

The event will include artist demonstrations, docent-guided tours of the exhibition, children’s art activities, storytelling and more.

The event, based on the theme “Searching for Goya,” will include demonstrations of printmaking, docent-guided tours of the exhibition, and art activities in which visitors can create their own versions of Goya’s works with potato prints!
