SMU Engineering Receives
In-kind Grant Valued at $5.7 Million

Siemens PLM Software, a division of the Siemens Industry Automation Division, gave SMU's School of Engineering an in-kind software grant valued at $5.7 million that includes engineering software, instructor training and academic support.

This gift from Siemens PLM Software, a leading global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services, will enrich the school's engineering curriculum and facilitate the transfer of the company's technology to the areas of critical infrastructure life cycle management throughout Dallas and beyond.
