SMU’s Maguire Center for Ethics presents Dr. Timothy Quill, a palliative care and end-of-life expert, on Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 5 p.m., in the Jeskey Lecture Hall of the Dedman Life Sciences Building, 6501 Airline Rd.
Quill is a pioneering physician internationally known for his work regarding the physician-patient relationship, medical decision-making and his challenge to New York’s assisted-suicide ban. His lecture, “Medical and Legal Challenges to End-of-Life Care: A Clinician’s Journey,” will be an exploration of these difficult and important issues.
