Beginning in January, SMU will offer two new graduate programs for students, a Master of Science in Counseling in the School of Education and Human Development and a Master of Science Degree in Entrepreneurship (MSIE) in the Cox School of Business.
The new Masterís program in the School of Education at SMU will focus on school and community counseling and include three major components: the 54 hour counseling degree, preparation for state certification and clinical activities. Courses will be offered on the SMU-in-Legacy campus in the evenings and on weekends. For more information about the School of Education and Human Development and its programs, call 214-768-8446.
The 32 credit hour degree program in the Cox School will draw from courses currently offered in the MBA program, including core and entrepreneurship classes. All courses in the MSIE program, designed to attract students who do not wish to attend a full-time program, will be taught at night or on Saturdays.
