AFRICAN-AMERICAN FOLKLORE ENSEMBLE
PRESENTS THE KATRINA MONOLOGUES

SMU’s African-American Folklore Ensemble will perform “The Katrina Monologues: A Tribute to Hurricane Katrina Survivors” on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 7:00 p.m, in The Varsity located on the lower level of the Hughes-Trigg Student Center.

The monologues will include a jazz band playing sounds native to New Orleans along with stories retold and remembered to capture the emotions felt during that time.
