THE MAGUIRE CENTER PRESENTS LECTURE
ON SUPREME COURT RULINGS OF BIBLE
CLASSES IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS

The SMU Cary M. Maguire Center for Ethics and Public Responsibility presents a lecture by SMU professor Joseph Kobylka regarding Supreme Court rulings of Bible classes in public schools.

The event will be held in the Umphrey Lee Ballroom on Thursday, Nov. 9, at 11:30 a.m. The lecture entitled “When Bible Classes Go to the Supreme Court, What Will They Find?” will assess the process and standard of the Supreme Court in these rulings. Kobylka, an associate professor of political science and the Altshuler Distinguished Teaching Professor at SMU, teaches courses in American politics, constitutional law, judicial politics and American political thought.
