SMU Student in 2006 Paralympic Winter Games

Taylor Lipsett of Mesquite, Texas, a first-year student at SMU, is competing in the 2006 Paralympic Winter Games in Torino, Italy, as a member of the U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team. Competition began March 11 and continues through March 19. Lipsett started playing sled hockey in 2002 with the Dallas Stars sled hockey club. In 2004, he received a silver medal at the Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships. Read more.
