Rebecca Graff Named User Education Librarian at SMU

DALLAS (SMU) -- Rebecca Eve Graff has been named the new user education and outreach librarian for Central University Libraries at Southern Methodist University, effective Sept. 9.

Graff previously served as reader services librarian, coordinating the reference and instruction program, at Grinnell College Libraries in Iowa where she also was an assistant professor teaching library research techniques. In addition, Graff has worked as reference services coordinator at Julia D. Lewis Library at Loyola University in Chicago and for user services at Hatcher Graduate Library at the University of Michigan. She also served on the faculty at Loyola, teaching computer sciences courses focusing on the Internet.

Graff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature at Earlham College and a Master of Information and Library Studies degree at the University of Michigan’s School of Information.
