SMU TO HOST BOOK-SIGNING WITH NOVELIST MARSHALL TERRY

DALLAS (SMU) -- The public is invited to attend a book-signing and reception for Dallas novelist Marshall Terry, author of the new book Tex Rex. The event will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 27, in the Texana Room of the DeGolyer Library at 6404 Hilltop Lane.

Terry is an SMU English professor and former president of the Texas Institute of Letters. His new book satirizes Texas myths and has been called "a wildly original take on Texas" by The Dallas Morning News.

Several SMU groups are hosting the event: the William P. Clements Center for Southwest Studies, the Friends of the SMU Libraries and the DeGolyer Library. The event is free.
