SMU DEDMAN LAW STUDENTS TO HELP HABITAT FOR HUMANITY BUILD HOUSES

DALLAS (SMU) -- More than 100 SMU Dedman law students will volunteer their time to build several new houses for the Dallas chapter of Habitat for Humanity Nov. 13-14 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The students are participating in a joint community service project organized by the SMU International Law Review Association, Computer Law Review Association and the SMU Law Review Association.

They will work on several houses in various stages of completion. Some students will nail walls, while others will be painting and the rest will perform a multitude of other tasks necessary before the houses can be occupied.

The work will be done among a cluster of new houses located on the new street Gray Oak, near Inwood Road and Interstate-35 East in the Southwest part of Dallas. For directions to the houses, contact the Dallas Chapter of Habitat for Humanity at 214-827-4037.
