An award-winning and nationally recognized design firm, Omniplan Architects has more than 46 years of experience in designing educational facilities, office buildings and shopping malls. Founded as Harrell and Hamilton Architects in 1956, the firm was renamed Omniplan in 1970.

Omniplan has received 73 design awards, including three 25-Year Awards. The Texas Society of Architects honored Omniplan in 2000 with the Architecture Firm Award, the highest honor the Society can bestow on a firm.

The majority of Omniplan’s work has been focused on facilities such as corporate and commercial offices, large-scale retail, corporate and institutional research and development, university, and high-tech manufacturing and assembly.

Significant projects in the DFW area include NorthPark Shopping Center, The School of Management and the Computer Science and Engineering Center at The University of Texas at Dallas, the Biological Research Center Phases 2 and 4 at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, Alcon Laboratories, Mountain View Community College, Tollway Plaza and RepublicBank Tower.

Omniplan has completed 27 projects at 13 educational institutions in Texas, including projects at Baylor University, Texas A&M University, Texas Christian University, Texas Tech University, The University of Texas at Dallas, The University of Texas at Arlington, The University of North Texas, Texas Woman’s University, Brookhaven Community College and Cedar Valley Community College.

Omniplan has provided design and project management services for more than 300 projects in 38 states during the past seven years.
