SMU SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING TO HOLD NETWORKING EVENT NOV. 4

DALLAS (SMU) -- The SMU School of Engineering will hold a networking event for current and prospective graduate students and corporate professionals on Sunday, Nov. 4, from 6-9 p.m. at the Plano Centre, 2000 E. Spring Creek Blvd. in Plano.

The event will begin with an information session for prospective graduate students from 6-7:30 p.m. Prospective graduate students who turn in their completed application for admission at this event will receive a waiver of their application fee.

From 7:30-8 p.m. there will be a lecture on “Computer Science and Engineering: Building Bridges to the Future” by Hesham El-Rewini, chair of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SMU.

From 8-9 p.m. there will be an opportunity for current and prospective students to network with each other, as well as with SMU faculty members and corporate professionals.
