Meadows School of the Arts is one of six degree-granting schools at SMU. The others are Dedman College, Edwin L. Cox School of Business, the School of Engineering, Dedman School of Law, and Perkins School of Theology. The SMU experience includes abundant opportunities for access to faculty in small classes, research experience, international study, leadership development, off-campus service and internships -- all with the goal of preparing students to be contributing citizens and leaders. Offering more than 100 majors and minors, SMU is nonsectarian in its teaching and is committed to the values of academic freedom and open inquiry.

The five-year Campaign for SMU: A Time to Lead is the most ambitious fund-raising effort in the University’s history, with the largest goal ever sought by an institution in North Texas. The Campaign seeks endowment and other support to strengthen the quality of students, faculty, academic programs, and selected facilities. The Temerlin Advertising Institute for Education and Research is one of many innovations at SMU being made possible through the Campaign.
