SMU ADVANCED COMPUTER EDUCATION CENTER IN PLANO TO HOST MAY 7 INFOSESSION FOR STUDENTS AND PARENTS

DALLAS (SMU) -- Southern Methodist University's Advanced Computer Education Center in Plano is hosting an information session May 7 designed especially for high school students and their parents.

The meeting will be held from 6:30 -- 9 p.m. on the first floor of Building 4 of the SMU-in-Legacy facility at 5236 Tennyson Dr.

SMU's Advanced Computer Education Centers offer training in a variety of computer technologies such as network administration, database administration, computer programming and e-commerce. The centers are certified education centers for Microsoft, Novell, Oracle, iGeneration and ProSoft.

Federal grant money is available for high school graduates who want to receive certification training at the centers.
