The following is from the Feb. 6, 2008, edition of KERA Public Radio. SMU Political Science Professor Cal Jillson provided expertise for this story.
DALLAS, TX (2008-02-06) It's been an exciting election week as Presidential
candidates competed for Super Tuesday votes. Now they're headed to Texas to win
the support of voters in our delegate-rich state.
I'm KERA's Shelley Kofler. During the next half hour we'll bring you a Voter's
Voice Special — Texas and the Presidential Election.
With me in the studio today are Cal Jillson, a professor of political science at
Southern Methodist University, and Gromer Jeffers , a Dallas Morning News
reporter who has covered the candidates on the campaign trail.
We'll be talking about the impact Texans will have on the selection of nominees
and what it takes to win in this state.
