The Tate Student Forum is a question-and-answer session for students from SMU and area high schools. It will be held from 4:30-5:15 p.m. in the Hughes-Trigg Student Center Ballroom, 3140 Dyer St. (west of Airline Road) on the SMU campus.

Media interested in covering the Student Forum may park in front of Patterson Hall to the east of the student center on Dyer Street. Parking spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please call if you are bringing a live truck.

Videotaping is allowed at the Student Forum.

The Linda and Mitch Hart Lecture of the Willis M. Tate Distinguished Lecture Series will begin at 8 p.m. in McFarlin Auditorium on the SMU campus.

Media wishing to cover the evening lecture should contact SMU's Office of News and Communications at (214) 768-7650 by Monday, Sept. 27.

Photography using available light will be permitted only during the first 10 minutes of the evening lecture from an assigned area 60 feet from the stage (300-400mm lens suggested). Videotaping will be permitted from the rear of the auditorium 116 feet from the stage for the first 10 minutes.
