Law Lecturer Jessica R. Dixon provides expert commentary and explanations on the ongoing legal wrangle concerning the polygamy case in West Texas. She is Director of SMU’s W.W. Caruth Jr. Child Advocacy Clinic and supervises law students who serve as guardians and attorneys ad litem for abused and neglected children.

Steaming into the Future
David D. Blackwell is a nationally-recognized expert in geothermal energy and SMU's top scholar on energy resource estimates and geothermal exploration. The SMU Geothermal Lab he directs is a partner in the U.S. Department of Energy's "GeoPowering the West" project to promote awareness of geothermal energy resources in the western United States.
