are drawn to technology jobs that spur growth, which creates opportunities in construction and other services for less skilled immigrants, mainly from Mexico.
Twenty-First Century Gateways, a new book on immigration co-written and co-edited by SMU anthropologist Caroline Brettell,
explores this boom-feeding-boom phenomenon.
