Cash Birdwell Endowment for SMU Athletics
The Cash Birdwell Endowment for Athletics will support the operational needs of SMU Athletics and all Mustang teams. An endowment offers long-term financial stability and the flexibility to answer the needs of SMU Athletics today and in the future.

Gifts of any size can be made to the Cash Birdwell Endowment for Athletics. Donations to the endowment can be made in a number of ways other than cash, using a wide variety of assets and vehicles called planned gifts. These gifts include:
· Gifts in kind: securities, real estate and mineral interests
· Partnership interests
· Beneficiary designations of insurance or retirement plans
· Charitable remainder trusts
· Charitable lead trusts
· Charitable gift annuities
