Dear Parents,

 

Welcome to SMU!  Both the Mothers’ Club and Dads’ Club are delighted to have you as members of the Southern Methodist University family.  We know you will find that SMU is rich in tradition and just brimming over with Texas spirit and friendliness.  We are eager to get to know you better and are dedicated to supporting you and your student as they embark on the most important journey in their lives.

 

Southern Methodist University has a long history of promoting parental involvement.  In fact, it is so important here that there’s not one, but two clubs devoted to it.  By joining the SMU Mothers’ Club or the SMU Dads’ Club you demonstrate a real commitment to your student’s college experience.  Your membership dollars allow sponsorship of a wide assortment of activities and events designed to give you opportunities to actively participate in your student’s life while they are here at SMU.  You will also enable us to provide ongoing communication between parents and support of our endowed scholarship funds.

 

Whether you live nearby or far away, you are a very important part of the SMU community.  Please join us as we work together to help make a difference for all!  You will find more information about our clubs’ activities on other pages of this website.
