Who is Stephen Tobolowsky?

Stephen TobolowskyHe’s one of the most successful working actors to graduate from Meadows. But he’s not a red-carpet mainstay or a regular visitor with David Letterman or Jay Leno. His face isn’t plastered on billboards or the side of buses, but the vast majority of moviegoers feel a higher level of familiarity with him than with many actors whose names normally adorn theatre marquees. Meadows Shakes Up Utah

Utah Shakespearean Festival Three members of the Division of Theatre faculty – Associate Professor Michael Connolly, Assistant Professor Leslie Brott and Assistant Professor Ashley Smith – spent the summer acting in the Utah Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City, which is one of the largest and most prestigious Shakespearean festivals anywhere. Discreetly In Love With Gustavo Tambascio

ring of firePart of the focus for the future of the Meadows School of the Arts revolves around a concerted effort to reach out into the Dallas community and make people more aware of the cultural events available at SMU. To that end, the Division of Theatre began “double-casting” plays occasionally in English and in Spanish, the first of which was presented Nov. 15-19 (in English) and Dec. 1-3 (in Spanish).
