Graduation: Commencement is an exciting milestone in your collegiate career, but before the mortarboards and diplomas, there are a few processes that you must go through. They are necessary for the University to verify that you have completed the requirements for the degree you will be receiving.

Seniors who think they are ready for graduation must come to the Meadows Undergraduate Academic Services office and schedule an appointment to complete a formal Application for Candidacy to Graduate and to have a final review of their Degree Progress Reports.

These meetings should be completed by the third week in September for December graduation, by the last week in January for May graduation and by the third week in June for August graduation.

Students who anticipate August graduation and who have made feasible arrangements to complete their degree requirements in summer may participate in the University Commencement and Meadows diploma presentation ceremony as “walk-through participants.” All necessary paperwork must be completed in the Meadows Undergraduate Academic Services office.

We will help make sure you get all the information that you need concerning dates of ceremonies and other things you'll need to know about graduation.
