Admissions & Auditions: Admission into the Division of Music is a two-part process: application to SMU and an audition for the Division of Music. The audition process includes an audition in the applicant's performance area and also brief assessments in music theory, aural skills, and sight-reading. On-campus auditions take place between January and March of each year.
