Elaine Liner

Elaine Liner has taught Strategic Writing, Feature Writing, Ethics of Communication, Media Criticism and Mass Media & Society since joining the CCPA and Journalism departments as an adjunct in 2001. As a professional journalist, Elaine specializes in writing about media. She was the media editor and columnist at the Corpus Christi Caller-Times and the Toledo Blade and has worked on assignment for several other dailies, including USA Today, The Dallas Morning Newsand The Washington Post. Currently she serves as the principal theater critic at the Dallas Observer. Elaine is a graduate of Trinity University. In her spare time, she attends water aerobics classes and haunts thrift stores for vintage handbags and old Polaroid cameras.
