There are two ways to become a member of the SMU Law Review Association. First, the SMULRA invites members of the top ten percent of each class at SMU Dedman School of Law who achieve a passing score on the Write-On Competition to participate as a staff member in the SMULRA. Second, the SMULRA invites the top writers in the school to join the SMULRA via the Write-On Competition. The Write-On Competition is an anonymous writing competition hosted by the SMU Law Review Association in conjunction with the International Law Review and the Computer Law Review. This competition is open to all students (including transfer students) who have completed their first year course requirements and is usually held immediately following the release of grades in the summer.
