The Friends of the SMU Libraries Grants Committee met on April 28, 2009 to review grant proposals submitted by the libraries. The committee was chaired by Judy McMillin and included Joanne Pratt and Donna Wellington. Amy Carver was ex-officio. The following grants were approved by the committee:

Fund the one-time archival fee for JSTOR’s Arts & Sciences Collections (volumes IV, V, VI and VII).
