Mary Anne Alhadeff

Since August of 2005, Mary Anne Alhadeff has been President & CEO of KERA, public radio and television for North Texas. KERA serves a market area that is among the top 5 in the nation. Ms. Alhadeff is a public broadcasting veteran of more than 20 years. She was elected to the PBS Board of Directors in 2003 and chaired the Content Policy Committee which oversees all PBS programs for broadcast and internet distribution.  She was also appointed to the PBS Strategic Planning Advisory Group and the Editorial Standards Review Committee. Previously, Mary Anne was the President & CEO for the statewide Maine Public Broadcasting Network and CEO at Prairie Public Broadcasting.

As a producer of programs for PBS, HBO, Showtime and the BBC, her productions earned awards from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (“Emmy” awards) and the New York Film Festival, among others.

Currently, Mary Anne serves on the board of America Public Television, the President’s Advisory Council of the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts, the Brinker International Forum and the Dallas AFI International Film Festival.  She is a member of the Dallas Assembly, the Dallas Summit and the International Women’s Forum.
