The Kiwanis Key Leader Conference

This year LEAD is hosting the

Kiwanis Key Leader Conference at SMU

on June 22-24, 2012.

What is Key Leader?

  • Key Leader is a leadership weekend for high school students. The mission is to inspire young people to achieve their personal best through service leadership. Key Leader is a weekend experiential leadership program for today's young leaders. This life-changing event focuses on service leadership as the first, most meaningful leadership-development experience. A Key Leader will learn the most important lesson of leadership - it comes from helping others succeed.
  • The cost for students is $200 (which covers food, housing, supplies and a t-shirt), however, there are a couple of discounts available:
    • Key Club (high school service organization) members can indicate membership in Key Club on the registration screen for a $25 discount
    • All students who reside in Texas or Oklahoma can enter coupon code kleader on the payment screen and click on the "redeem" button for a $25 discount on the final invoice.
    • Limited scholarship funding is also available through the SMU Community Engagement and Leadership Center. Contact Carol Clyde (cclyde@smu.edu) for more information.
