The Award Committee consists of 5 permanent members, including an officer of ISEM as Chair of the Committee, a second officer or Trustee of ISEM, Dr. Emma Brossard, who founded the Award, a representative from Petroleos de Venezuela, SA, and a representative from SMU's Department of Geological Sciences. There are also 5 rotating members of the Committee who are drawn from academia, the energy industry, and related fields.
