 The U.S. Department of State has issued a Travel Alert for Europe.  SMU students participating on programs in Europe have been informed of the alert and asked to take appropriate precautions. SMU continues to monitor the situation. Should additional actions become necessary, students will be notified by program directors and the SMU community informed via the SMU website.

 The U.S. Department of State has issued a Travel Warning for Mexico.  SMU has suspended the 2010-2011 SMU Abroad Programs in Mexico.
