Our Mission
The SMU International Center provides a variety of services to schools and departments within the University, as well as to students, scholars, and the community. The mission of the International Center is to help the University prepare graduates who can make meaningful contributions in an increasingly global society by encouraging, promoting, facilitating, and tracking initiatives that broaden international perspectives. The International Center collaborates with schools, departments, committees, individual faculty and staff members, and the community to identify, help implement, and evaluate international opportunities that will contribute to the University’s global mission.
