  • INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

INCLEMENT WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY:  If the University ever closes down on a scheduled IELTS test day the test would be cancelled and rescheduled.  (All travel arrangements would be at the candidates personal expense).  Visit  SMU website http://www.smu.edu  or call (214) SMU-INFO  (768-4636)  regarding the closing of the SMU Campus during inclement weather..  The IELTS Test Center phone is  NOT answered on scheduled test days.

  • IELTS CANCELLATION/POSTPONEMENT POLICY

I understand that I will be charged the full test fee if I postpone or cancel my test date (less than 5 weeks prior to scheduled test date), unless I provide appropriate medical evidence to support the postpone or cancellation. Appropriate form will be provided upon request. Only evidence of serious illness will be considered. I understand that if I cancel more than 5 weeks prior to the exam I will be charged a $42.50 cancellation fee for processing of application.

I understand that medical evidence must be provided within 5 days of the scheduled test date. This policy is also stated on the Declaration page of the IELTS application and on our test center "Test Admission Ticket"
