What do you like most about being a Hunt Scholar?

I love the fact that you automatically feel like you have a really close-knit group of friends even when you’ve just started attending SMU. It seems almost impossible that a group of individuals from different states and various backgrounds could get along so well and so quickly, but after meeting some of the other Hunt Scholars, I’ve realized that becoming a family is very much possible. I also enjoy all of the opportunities given to us on campus, like attending the Tate Lecture Series, for example.
