May 23, 2012 – Leymah Gbowee
Meet Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, peace activist, and author, Leymah Gbowee.  Ms. Gbowee was a joint recipient of the 2011 Nobel Pace Prize.  She is founder of the Liberian Mass Action for Peace and has played a leading role in ending Libera's Second Civil War.  Ms. Gbowee is based in Accra, Ghana and is the executive director of the NGO Women Peace and Security in Africa (WIPSEN-Africa) and heads the newly established reconciliation process in her native Liberia.
