This program explores the legal system in Nazi Germany and the role of law in the Holocaust.Through the interpretation of images from the 1930s and 1940s and with special emphasis on the role played by law and jurists in the Nazi regime, participants learn about the persecution of targeted minorities, the ultimate loss of judicial independence in Nazi Germany during World War II, and the reign of terror imposed by the Nazi legal system from 1942 until 1945.
