Types of Performance Reviews
As part of our commitment to excellence at SMU, and to assist you in establishing a productive and successful career, you will participate in two types of Performance Reviews:
- 90-Day Performance Review for new employees
- Annual Performance Review
While you should be seeking and receiving ongoing performance feedback, a formal review provides you and your supervisor with the opportunity to step back and review your achievements and to plan for future skill development and career growth.
We regard the review process as a positive aspect of working at SMU. It helps us to ensure that you are engaged, productive, and continually learning. Your review is also taken into consideration during the salary review process. We believe the success of our employees ultimately ensures the success of SMU.
