SMU Police Department and Crime Prevention
We all have a big part to play in helping to ensure that SMU remains a great place to work. Our responsibilities include:
- Following established University procedures and guidelines around security and safety.
- Using available services such as the Safety Escort Program.
- Reporting incidents when they occur.
In addition, the SMU Police Department has implemented the "If You See Something, Say Something" campaign. Members of the University community are encouraged to report unusual activity or behavior to the Police Department or to call 911.
