IT Training
Information Technology (IT) Training provides non-credit classroom instruction, online tutorial, and one on one assistance to faculty and staff. IT Training works in conjunction with the Office of Information Technology (OIT) to provide you with support in meeting your computing needs. You can consult with OIT for classroom support, digital and online media assistance, statistical and research consulting and assistance with web publishing and other instructional technology via the STARs Program.

Cox Executive Education
Cox Executive Education offers non-credit custom training courses and open enrollment programs. Programs last from as little as a few hours to several weeks or months.

Department of Human Resources
The Department of Human Resources offers professional development workshops to help you make the most of your career at SMU.

Meadows Community Education
Meadows Community Education offers a broad spectrum of non-credit arts courses for adults and children. Topics include advertising, art, art history, arts administration, cinema-television, dance, journalism, music, and theatre. SMU staff and faculty receive a discount on registration fees.

Office of Risk Management
The Office of Risk Management, (ORM) provides a number of non-credit courses in electronic format. They also offer training several times a year at their Risk Assist Fairs, as well as scheduled group training.

SMU Continuing Studies
As part of the Simmons School of Education and Human Development, SMU Continuing Studies offers non-credit professional and personal enrichment courses. SMU staff and faculty receive a discount on registration fees.

SMU-in-Taos
The SMU-in-Taos campus offers undergraduate summer semesters and an archaeological field school. The program also offers both credit and non-credit courses in such disciplines as anthropology, biology, art history, music and music history, painting, literature and history.
The campus features a Cultural Institute that offers the general public adult weekend classes in an inspirational setting. SMU faculty lead classes that reflect the diverse physical and cultural landscape of Northern New Mexico and students can participate in recreational opportunities provided by the local environment.
