RESIDENCE LIFE & STUDENT HOUSING

Parents

Whether your student is entering his or her first year or beginning a second year of graduate school, there are resources available to help in the transition. The links to the left provide a quick means of accessing useful information about housing and the entire university. Our goal is to be a resource for you.

Parent Newsletter Alerts

Issues of the Parent and Family Connection newsletter for the 2007-08 academic year are now available.  For the most recent Residence Life and Student Housing (RLSH) Connection Newsletter, click here.

We also encourage you to visit our Frequent Questions page. Let us know if you have questions that need answers and we'll add them to the page.

In Case of Emergency

As an on-going effort, SMU has developed an Emergency Plan. Part of the plan is to inform our community of how to respond to a disaster. Please refer to the Emergency & Disaster Guide for more information.

In addition, the Department of Residence Life & Student Housing will from time to time post important information here regarding critical residence hall situations as the need warrants.
