Conference Leader (10 positions)

Responsibilities (Summer School-not permitted)

  • Mandatory Training- May 19-28, 2012
  • Must be available for five (5), 7.5 hour shifts per week
  • Be available to work within the seven day conference schedule, working Saturdays and Sundays are common
  • Attend daily Team meetings with the exception of days off (5 meetings per week)
  • Organize and facilitate premium customer service for conference operations including Check-In and Out procedures
  • Prepare keys and access cards for all camps and conferences
  • Contribute to the Team work environment
  • Responsible for ongoing key management including, audits and organization
  • Check room conditions for quality control before each incoming group
  • Serve as CL On-Call: evenings and overnight (1 to 2 times per week)
  • Assist DAs and DMs with conference issues
  • Communicate with other Conference Leaders, Interns, Facility Managers, Custodial Staff, and others who are directly involved with Summer Conferences

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Previous Conference and/or Residence Life experience- preferred
  • Demonstrate proactive, productive and positive work ethic
  • Available to work 7:00am-4:30 or 8:00am-5:00pm five (5) out of seven (7) days per week between May 19-August 5, 2012
  • Ability to contribute to a dynamic, positive and energetic conference services team, focusing on exceptional customer service

Compensation

  • $3,200 stipend, paid in equal monthly installments
  • On-Campus interim/summer apartment housing included (double occupancy)
  • Partial Meal Plan- choice of Lee Center Swipes or Pony Express Cash
  • Two (2) consecutive days off, per week (not necessarily Sat, Sun)
  • “Off Duty” days following overnight On-Call
