Assistant Community Director (ACD) - 1 position

Typical Responsibilities

  • Minimum commitment of 20 hours a week
  • Manage co-educational apartment community housing up to 140 residents
  • Maintain regular contact with the Facilities Manager
  • Facilitate periodic apartment community meetings
  • Assist with facilities management and provide administrative support for facilities operations
  • Assist with occupancy management of the apartment communities
  • Serve on-call responsibilities as directed
  • Educate residents on apartment policies and provide policy enforcement
  • Be visible and available to apartment residents
  • Manage assigned budgets
  • Meet regularly with supervisor and staff
  • Coordinate programming and community development activities
  • Serve on departmental committees
  • Participate in and assist with staff training
  • Assist with summer housing and conference responsibilities as directed
  • Other duties as assigned

Compensation

  • Stipend of $600 per month
  • $1,100 annual meal allowance
  • $1,000 tuition scholarship per semester
  • Partially furnished apartment with basic cable, internet access, utilities paid and telephone service with voicemail
