
Assistant Community Director (ACD) - 1 position
Typical Responsibilities
- Minimum commitment of 20 hours a week
- Manage co-educational apartment community housing up to 140 residents
- Maintain regular contact with the Facilities Manager
- Facilitate periodic apartment community meetings
- Assist with facilities management and provide administrative support for facilities operations
- Assist with occupancy management of the apartment communities
- Serve on-call responsibilities as directed
- Educate residents on apartment policies and provide policy enforcement
- Be visible and available to apartment residents
- Manage assigned budgets
- Meet regularly with supervisor and staff
- Coordinate programming and community development activities
- Serve on departmental committees
- Participate in and assist with staff training
- Assist with summer housing and conference responsibilities as directed
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation
- Stipend of $600 per month
- $1,100 annual meal allowance
- $1,000 tuition scholarship per semester
- Partially furnished apartment with basic cable, internet access, utilities paid and telephone service with voicemail
