This is a full-tuition and fees scholarship for approximately 25 of SMU’s most academically gifted entering first-year students (and several upperclass students who apply each year). The program also provides study abroad, special faculty mentoring, access to SMU’s most distinguished visitors and an annual retreat to SMU-in-Taos.
Other merit-based scholarships include University Scholars, International Baccalaureate Scholars, SMU Distinguished Scholars, National Merit Scholars and various scholarships offered by the Cox School of Business, Meadows School of the Arts and the School of Engineering, including the J. Lindsay Embrey Academic Excellence Scholarship.
