Research Interests
Alexander is
interested in the relationship between humans and
water in the North American West, with a particular
focus in foodway adaptations in the transnational
Southwest. His research examines water management
and consumption, before and after federal
reclamation, in an effort to determine how
industrial collection and diversion of fresh water
sources affects marginalized communities and impacts
natural habitat. |
