Educational Background

B.A. in History, Brigham Young University, 2012s

Rees was born and raised in the small town of Salem, Utah.  As an undergraduate at Brigham Young University he majored in history with minors in Western American studies, Native American studies, and Spanish.  During his undergraduate work he became particularly fascinated with the meeting of cultures in the American Southwest, with a special interest in the Native American history of the region. As a graduate student, Rees will continue refining his  interests and learning more about the discipline of history in general, and the history of the the Southwest in particular.
