Incoming Students
  • New Meningitis Vaccine Requirement
    State Law effective Jan. 1, 2012: Any entering student at any Texas college or university who is under 30 years old must be immunized before attending classes (and must have received the vaccine within the preceding 5 years and at least 10 days prior to the first class day) or provide exemption information.
  • Health Requirements & Health History Form
Mandatory Health Insurance
  • All students who are affected by the Mandatory Health Insurance Policy must either Waive or Elect the Sudent Health Insurance before the January 23, 2012 deadline.  Students must complete this process each semester after they have enrolled in their Spring classes. 
  • Log into your student center in Access.smu and follow the prompts under Health Insurance after you have enrolled in classes.

Clinics

Medical Services include consultations with physicians, minor surgery, care of injuries, treatment of minor illnesses, immunizations, and continuation of treatments such as allergy injections.

The Health Center also offers specialty clinics which include gynecology, sports medicine and dermatology.
