Counseling and Psychiatric Services
Accredited by the International Association of Counseling Services, Inc. Partner of Dallas Metropolitan Consortium in Psychology, APA Accredited, a member of APPIC.
SMU Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS), located on the beautiful Southern Methodist University campus (go to map), provides psychological and psychiatric evaluation and treatment as well as learning disability/ADHD testing for SMU students. CAPS also provides consultative services and national and professional testing for the community.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not schedule appointments or provide personal counseling through e-mail or other electronic means. Persons who are not SMU students who are seeking personal counseling should consult a local mental health professional for assistance.

The Memorial Health Center is located at 6211 Bishop Blvd on the SMU Campus, just to the north of the Meadows School of the Arts and south of the Umphrey-Lee Center.
