The Memorial Health Center is a convenient medical clinic located on the SMU campus for diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury. The clinic is staffed by full time physicians, registered nurses, pharmacists, and laboratory and x-ray technologists for diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury.
Services include consultations with physicians, minor surgery, care of injuries, treatment of minor illnesses, immunizations, and continuation of treatments such as allergy injections. The Health Center also offers specialty clinics which include gynecology, sports medicine and dermatology.
Counseling services for various concerns are provided by a psychiatrist and several psychologists in the Health Center. Additionally, the Health Education Office serves as a resource for health information on campus
